Depresso Espresso was a super fun and inspiring piece to make! I have always wanted to open up my own coffee shop, and recently had help coming up with a name with it this year.

We wanted to keep it upbeat from the word "depresso" with bright and bold colors that also help give it a friendly look. Another choice in the matter was to have a little flare in it also to give it an edgy look. The target audience is to elder emo's who look for a decent cup of coffee that isn't Starbucks or Dutch Bro's and remind them of the early days. Because bad days deserve great coffee.

Standing out from our competition was just the start with colors and typography. The word mark of this logo, can help represent a couple of things, when used properly. First, it symbolizes a teardrop for depression, it can also look like a drip coming off of say a coffee machine. When you stylize the teardrop to be a little more wide, you could say it almost looks like a guitar pic like our badge logo example as well, to forever keep rocking on!
